Through his musical alias KMRU, the Kenyan-born artist creates deep layered soundscapes from his sonic journals that are recorded in the moments many wouldn’t even notice. Whether it is out the window of his Berlin flat or on the streets of Nairobi, KMRU finds the nuanced emotions and plays them back with elegant impact.
